Our Client Wanted To Achieve Efficient Charging, Optimized Power Use, and Secure Networks
Efficient Charging
Our client aimed to provide chargers to tenants and enable seamless billing of energy consumption in the administration system.
Optimized Power Use
The goal was to ensure the optimal utilization of available power in the building.
Secure Networks
Our client wanted to protect against network overload in office buildings and parking lots.
Our Experts Optimized Searches, Streamlined Communication, and Integrated Hardware Management
Here we have used PostgreSQL algorithms (ltree) for representing labels of data stored in a hierarchical tree-like structure.
We have employed a PostGIS, a spatial database extender for PostgreSQL object-relational database. It supports geographic objects allowing location queries to be run in SQL.
We have deployed an open-source message broker, RabbitMQ, which can be deployed in distributed and federated configurations to meet high-scale, high-availability requirements.
The goal was to provide remote access to the status of the charger but also to allow users and end-users to control the charger, e.g., switch it on/off remotely. Both groups are using different apps to perform these activities. Our team accessed the chargers software backend and conducted the integration from that level.
We provided a comprehensive solution that addressed key needs for managing charging stations effectively. Users can now search for charging stations, book chargers seamlessly, and monitor payments with integrated tools. The platform was connected to end users’ mobile apps, enabling convenient remote control of charger stations, including starting and stopping sessions and checking the status.
Our solution also introduced a structured user access system, dividing users into Operators and Charging Service Providers, each with specific access levels. The system allows network segmentation, enabling smaller operators to manage only their assigned devices, while Charging Service Providers can monitor station status and share availability details with end-users in just a few clicks.
Additionally, the integration with the Enelink system allows most maintenance activities to be performed remotely, reducing operational overhead. A charging plan feature was implemented to limit station power usage efficiently when multiple Operators are involved. Charging stations can also be labeled, simplifying management for Service Providers and making it easier to share availability information.
To enhance user experience and revenue generation, a Dynamic Tariff solution was introduced. This feature offers attractive pricing for end-users, encouraging charging at specific locations and enabling discounts, VIP programs, and coupon offers. These tariffs help Service Providers optimize earnings at charging stations, creating a more profitable and user-friendly system.
