Last month 109 partners from 19 countries united at the 2nd Productive4.0 Consortium Conference and Workshops in Budapest to exchange experiences and plan next steps in ongoing projects.
Productive4.0, the largest European research initiative to date in the field of Industry 4.0, had been launched in May 2017. Involved in the project are partners such as BMW, Bosch, Philips, Thales, NXP, STM, ABB, Volvo and Ericsson, and leading research institutes such as the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the TNO or VTT.
1st Productive 4.0 Consortium Conference took place in Athens last year focusing on requirements and planning. This year’s summit gave a very clear overview of developed solutions. We had an opportunity to see and test some of the prototypes and discuss future directions of technology development.
During the Conference, our Chief Innovation Officer, Mateusz Bonecki, Ph.D., presented our vision of IIoT data sharing in distributed and decentralized ecosystems including data spaces and blockchains.
“It was great to see the progress of all the projects carried out by the consortium. Comparing to previous summits, this time we had an opportunity to see tangible effects of almost two years of work. Including the demonstrator of Digital Product Footprint, an architecture for collaborative product lifecycle management, we are working on together with Thales Netherlands” – comments Mateusz Bonecki, DAC.digital.
