It was only the first month of the year, and we already had a lot on our plates at DAC.digital! Events in Poland, India, and the United States, as well as charity work, kept January busy. Let’s see what we did this month.
Customer Electronics Show 2023
As one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe, we couldn’t miss the Customer Electronics Show 2023 in Las Vegas. CES is one of the most influential tech events in the world, owned by the Consumer Technology Association. It is a proving ground for breakthrough technologies and innovation.
From the 5th to the 8th of January Bart Andrzejewski, our Business Development Manager, was there to participate in networking, talk about Deep Tech with other experts in the industry, meet new partners, but also to learn about the latest technological innovations.

WOŚP auctions
January is this time of year when all hands are on deck. As DAC.digital, we contributed to the cause by offering our time and the things we enjoy doing in our spare time for Wielka Orkietra Świątecznej Pomocy bidding.
What do we put on auctions? An Indian feast by Yash Chawla, lecture on space by Justyna Pelc, portrait photo session by Julia Zychowicz, and nanny care for the evening by Joanna Smul.
DAC.digital succeeded in raising 1350 PLN from our auctions, which will go toward the WOŚP collection and the battle against sepsis in Polish hospitals.
Thank you to all who were involved in the bidding. Stay tuned for photos from our completed auctions!

SoDA: Breakfast in Katowice
This month, we also had another opportunity to talk about our growth. Radosław Szmit, Head of Growth, represented DAC.digital at SoDA: Breakfast in Katowice – a series of workshop meetings where various businesses share experiences and exchange insights.
He presented how DAC.digital successfully entered the international market, achieving a 12-fold increase in revenue from the export of our services, and had a chance to cooperate with clients from 20 countries, including Canada, Norway, Israel, the US, and Germany.

Business Intelligence Day
We pay special attention to R&D activities and supporting young talents. On the 10th of January, DAC.digital participated in Wrocław Tech’s Business Intelligence Day. During the event, panelists from academia and industry spoke about their experiences, and students presented their thesis work in 3-minute talks.
It was an excellent opportunity to share our knowledge and insights with future professionals. As an Industry Partner, represented by Yash Chawla, PhD, we talked about innovations and R&D communications at DAC.digital.
In this article, we wrote about our experiences and discussed perspectives on Business Intelligence interaction at Academic institutions based on BI Day. Check it out to learn more about this event!

International Conference on Business and Management in India
January was a month when we could share our knowledge of various events in Poland. But we also had an opportunity to do it internationally!
Yash Chawla visited his homeland, India, and attended the 2nd International Conference on Business and Management 2023 (ICBM 2023). The theme of the conference was “Digitalisation and Sustainable Development Goals.” It was organized by the Delhi School of Management, Delhi Technological University.
Yash was invited to deliver a pre-conference workshop on “Surveys: From basics to niche learnings from real studies.” He talked about what surveys are as a research method, what the types are, key points for conducting a survey, ethical considerations, and some examples from his experience of conducting a survey.
He also made a speech as a Distinguished Speaker on “Predictors and Outcome of Public Knowledge during the early stage of a crisis: Learnings from COVID-19”. In this talk, he shared the results from a large-scale global study, that he was a part of.
Yash is not stopping here to share the knowledge! As a General Chair of the ETBI Series, he will be present at various lectures about Emerging Technologies and Business Intelligence in India next months.
