

Even though February is the shortest month, DAC.digital made the most of it! We participated in events in India, Brussels, and our city – Gdańsk. What was February like for DAC.digital? Take a look by yourself.
ETBI series India
The ETBI series in India had several meetings in it during February. The concluded events are ETBI in Chennai at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, ETBI in Rajkot at RK University, ETBI in Ajmer at Bhatgwant University, and ETBI in Jaipur at Malviyan National Institute of Technology. As the Industry Partner, we attended the ETBI meeting in Wrocław last month.
The ETBI series seeks to bring together researchers, academics, and industry specialists, to support transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and to promote emerging technologies in business. The series is chaired by Dr. Yash Chawla, R&D Communications Advisor at DAC.digital. For present and prospective professionals, the series includes conferences, seminars, symposiums, and expert talks for current and prospective professionals.
The series enjoys excellent popularity; what can numbers show:

- Research Papers Presented: 150+
- Research Papers Expected in the forthcoming events: 150+
But this is not the end of the event! The upcoming events will be held at COER Univerisity in Roorkee, the Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology in Norida, and the India Institute of Technology in Delhi.

ECS Brokerage 2023
As a long-term and active member of the Inside Industry Association in KDT JU, DAC.digital participated in the Electronic Components and Systems Brokerage Event in Brussels – a networking event dedicated to Electronic Components and Systems project proposals.
From the 7th to the 8th of February, Mateusz Bonecki, Chief Innovation Officer at DAC.digital, Agnieszka Jarzewicz, Senior R&D Funding Manager, and Łukasz Brandt, Chief Security Analyst were there to meet potential project partners. Moreover, Łukasz Brandt presented the project idea he proposed on behalf of DAC: Risk Intelligence for Systems of Systems (RISS). The project idea has attracted strong interest among potential partners.

The ECS Brokerage Event took place soon after the kick-off meeting of the KDT JU project Smart, digitalized components and systems for data-based Agriculture and Forestry (AGRARSENSE). As a consortium member, DAC.digital is engaged in the Forestry use case of this project and leads the work package dedicated to developing algorithms and software components. Our Marek Tatara, Chief Scientific Officer, and Agnieszka Jarzewicz participated in the kick-off, which took place on 17-18 January in Berlin, at Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM.

PyData Trójmiasto
On the 23rd of February, DAC.digital was a co-organizer of the PyData event. PyData Trójmiasto is a series of meetings dedicated to Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. The event aims to build a local community through exchanging knowledge and experience. It is where the latest trends in artificial intelligence are discussed and where ideas, research, and ventures developed locally are presented.
One of the speakers, Jan Glinko, a Machine Learning Researcher at DAC.digital, present the topic of Meta-learning in his speech “Meta-learning for fast Neutral Network fine-tuning.” The presentation was divided into three parts: When is it worth using meta-learning; What are the meta-learning types, and how DAC.digital use Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning to solve a regression problem?
It was an opportunity to listen to great presentations and meet others from the industry at the networking.

Forbes Technology Council
One of the most exciting events this month is Przemek Szleter, CEO and Founder of DAC.digital, joining the Forbes Technology Council! Forbes Technology Council is an invitation-only organization for senior-level executives. Their members are selected based on their deep knowledge and diverse experience in the industry.
Over the last two decades, Przemek has been actively involved in advancing the emerging technologies sector and establishing DAC.digital as one of the fastest-growing DeepTech companies in Europe. On the pages of Forbes, Przemek will be sharing topics related to DeepTech, Emerging Technologies, and Research and Development.

Quarterly Meeting and Photosession
February was an opportunity to meet for the first time this year in our HQ in Gdańsk! Many attended the quarterly meeting, where we presented our progress and activities from Q4 in 2022.

What’s going to happen next month?
We can already invite you to the upcoming Memex Conference 2023 in the US! An event will occur on March 23 in New York, Midtown Manhattan. The main theme of this edition of Memex is Meaningful Attention, and thought leaders from the frontiers of implicit market research and executives from the FMCG, social media, and film industries will attend it.
