530% growth thanks to building a company based on research and development? This is the recipe for success for DAC.digital, an IT company ranked by the Financial Times among the 1000 fastest-growing companies in Europe.
The FT 1000 is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing companies in Europe. The ranking recognizes European companies that have achieved the highest compound annual revenue growth rate in the last three years, or in the case of this year’s ranking, between 2018 and 2021.
DAC.digital was ranked 291st overall and 51st out of 176 companies in the IT & Software category.
– Undoubtedly, being present in the Financial Times 1000 ranking can only be gratifying. Winning awards has never been our goal. However, we feel great satisfaction that the effects of the work of our entire team allow us to stand out in Europe. – says Przemek Szleter, CEO of DAC.digital.

Fivefold growth for DAC.digital – how is this possible?
Between 2018 and 2021, DAC.digital achieved revenue growth of 530.2%. The company has expanded its activities in foreign markets, increased the number of people in the team from 17 to 150, and exploited the potential of ongoing research and development projects, turning established partnerships into commercial projects. It exports its services to more than 20 countries on four continents: Europe, North America, South America and Asia. The distinction in the Financial Times ranking is not the company’s only success. DAC.digital shows that Polish technologies are internationally successful, and their development is accelerating year by year.
Technologies of tomorrow
DAC.digital specializes in software engineering for the logistics, med tech, agriculture or forestry industries, among others. Since 2009, the company has implemented dozens of projects in the field of IoT and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, DeepTech, BigData and Computer Vision. DAC.digital’s solutions are changing reality all over the world: helping people with Parkinson’s disease, supporting healthcare facilities in Scandinavia, diagnosing osteoarthritis in dogs, connecting freelancers with SMEs in Latin America or optimising and reducing the carbon footprint of many industrial and logistical processes.
Research and development is in the company’s DNA
Why the rapid growth in recent years? The DAC.digital team has developed over a dozen proprietary solutions and technologies as part of its R&D activities, enabling it to gain a competitive edge in the market and find its niche in the software development and IoT solutions market. DAC.digital’s flagship product, MuuMap, a unique, innovative IT system dedicated to the dairy industry for supporting and monitoring the raw milk collection process, has taken over 60% of the market in Poland and 6% in Europe.
The company’s projects are carried out in cooperation with scientific centres from Poland and Europe – including Fraunhofer, Eclipse Foundation or the Gdansk University of Technology. Cooperation between business and science allows us to acquire the latest knowledge and share our own experience, and as a result, create technologies that shape the future.
This is not the first success
DAC.digital has received several awards and recognitions. We have been named the „Leading Service Provider 2020 by Clutch” in recognition of our services as one of the top IoT developers in Poland.
