VC-Startup Matching Platform Bridged AI with Frontend

DeckMatch, a Norwegian startup, aimed to simplify the VC-startup matching process through an AI and ML-powered platform and had developed a system that allowed startups to upload their presentations in various formats, and VCs to filter these startups based on specific preferences. However, they faced challenges in making the platform user-friendly and automated as well as integrating the AI with the frontend layer.

The solution involved developing backend APIs to bridge the AI components with the frontend, using technologies like Fast API for efficient data handling and web scraping tools to aggregate data from multiple sources such as LinkedIn and official company websites. Additionally, integration with the Auth0 platform was implemented to enhance security and user login convenience.
